What is a Personal Assistant?
Whether you're the star start-up from Dragon's Den or an established and growing business, time is something we can't create and this is when you need a personal assistant (PA) working closely with you! A PA is someone who will help you manage your workload, taking much of those time-consuming administrative tasks off your hand, leaving you free to run your business.
How we help you?
We become the first point of contact with people from inside and outside your organisation, although we can do as much or as little as you require. Typically we can:
- screen incoming telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handle them when appropriate;
- manage and maintain diaries and set appointments;
- deal with incoming email, faxes and post and respond to them where necessary;
- deal with correspondence and write letters, as well as take dictation and minutes;
- produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
- carry out background research and present the findings;
- organise and attend meetings, and ensure managers are well-prepared for meetings;
- liaise with clients, suppliers and other staff;
- stand in for the staff and make decisions as well as delegate work to others in their absence;
- devise and maintain office systems to deal efficiently with paper flow;
- organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
- manage travel and accommodation and make all necessary booking arrangements
